Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is appropriate to send to a funeral?
A: Fresh flowers, plants, dish gardens, or arrangements incorporating keepsakes for the family
are all very appropriate sympathy tributes. Different areas of the country have different customs
so consulting the florist you have selected in the area of the country where the tribute is to be
delivered will give you information for an appropriate tribute.
Q: If I can only afford $25-$35, is there something I can send?
A: Our on-line website offers a number of smaller arrangements in vases or baskets that can be
purchased in this price range. We use lower cost flowers such as daisies and carnations
combined with one or two higher end flowers like roses or lilies to make a lower cost
arrangement look more expensive than it is.
Q: I am part of a group. What are some suggestions?
A: When groups of family members, friends or neighbors go together on an arrangement, they
are able to select an arrangement that can be very special. Themed arrangements, including
sprays, wreaths and plants have become very popular. Your florist can incorporate items of
interest to the deceased, hobbies, keepsakes, etc. that will personalize the arrangement. These
items will make the arrangement memorable to the family as well as your group. Be sure that
your florist has a contact name and address so the family knows whom to thank.
Q: How will I know if my delivery was made?
A: Many funeral homes maintain a log of the arrangements they receive. If the delivery is close to
the visitation hours, then the delivery person lets the funeral director know that there has been a
late delivery. You can request a delivery confirmation for your florist at the time you place your
order. You will be contacted by telephone or email to acknowledge the arrangement was delivered.

small strip center on the north side of Euclid, tucked between the communities of Willowick,
Wickliffe and Willoughby.

open 9-5. We have later evening hours for your convenience on Wednesday through Friday 9-6.

Q: If I can only afford $25-$35, is there something I can send?
Q: Does A Classic Florist Deliver?
Q: If I can only afford $25-$35, is there something I can send?
A: A Classic Florist delivers throughout Lake County and most of Cuyahoga and Lorain Counties.
We try to use our delivery resources to reach your recipient with our quality products. However,
if you need delivery outside of these areas or out of state, we partner with Teleflora and Bloomnet
florists to assure your order is filled by a qualified, professional florist in that area.
Q: Does A Classic Florist Do Weddings?
A: A Classic Florist does all sizes of weddings - wedding party flowers to full receptions. We off
free bridal consultations and quotes to prospective brides and work with each bride to create a
design that reflects her fantasy but pays attention to her budget. Consultations are by appointment.
Q: How Do I Know My Order was Delivered?
A: A Classic Florist's delivery policy is to obtain a signature from the recipient. We will leave an
arrangement with a neighbor, with their signature. We follow up with the recipient to make them
aware of where the arrangement was left. We never leave an arrangement on a doorstep - unless
specifically instructed and then only in good flower weather - not to hot or cold.
